Shipping
Shipping costs are charged in addition to the retail price of the publications. They are calculated according to the destination, the weight of the order, and the available shipping methods. Applicable shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Please note that shipping costs do not include customs duties, import taxes, or other charges that may be imposed by the destination country. These charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs authorities or the delivery service may contact you to request payment or additional documentation.
Failure to pay applicable charges or provide the required documentation may result in delays or the return of your order.
Orders are shipped to the postal address provided at checkout. Estimated delivery times depend on the destination, the shipping method selected, and customs processing. Delivery estimates are indicative and cannot be guaranteed.
Please ensure that your shipping details are complete and accurate. Moving Forward Books cannot be held responsible for delivery problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Returns and Refunds
We take care to represent each publication as accurately as possible. Before placing an order, please read the descriptions, check the specifications, and review the available photographs carefully.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at contact@movingforwardbooks.com, providing your order number and the reason for the return. Returns must be approved before items are sent back.
Unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or applicable law provides otherwise, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Returned publications must be in their original condition, unused and undamaged, with any original packaging intact. We reserve the right to assess returned items before approving a refund.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned items. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights applicable to your purchase.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If a publication arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive an item different from the one you ordered, contact us as soon as possible a contact@movingforwardbooks.com
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where relevant. We will review the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement or refund, subject to availability and applicable law.

This website is operated by Moving Forward Books, a collaborative publishing and distribution project developed by BAO Books in Tunis and Esmat Publishing List in Cairo.
Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Moving Forward Books.
Moving Forward Books presents curated selections of publications by independent publishers and self-publishers, with a focus on contemporary art, visual culture, design, architecture, cinema, and related fields across the Arab world and the wider SWANA region.
By visiting our website, browsing our catalogue, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies referenced herein. Please read them carefully before using our website or purchasing our publications.
Our online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform through which our products are offered.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service by publishing a revised version on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Moving Forward Books offers curated selections of publications from independent publishers and self-publishers. Availability may vary depending on stock levels, publisher allocations, and distribution arrangements.
We make every reasonable effort to represent publications accurately through descriptions and photographs. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen and display settings.
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website and may change without prior notice. The price applicable to an order is the price displayed at checkout when the order is placed, subject to correction of manifest errors and applicable law.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, withdraw publications, or restrict sales to certain destinations where necessary.
An order confirmation does not prevent us from contacting you if a publication is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or a delivery restriction applies. In such cases, any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Section 5 — Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Orders are subject to publication availability, successful payment, and the possibility of delivery to the address provided.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, duplicate transactions, stock errors, or other legitimate reasons. If payment has already been collected for an order that is cancelled, the corresponding amount will be refunded where appropriate.
Please ensure that your email address, billing information, and shipping address are correct so that we can process your order and contact you if necessary.
Section 6 — Shipping, Customs and Delivery
Shipping costs, available delivery methods, and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout where available.

تُضاف تكاليف الشحن إلى أسعار بيع المنشورات، وتُحتسب وفقًا لوجهة الشحن ووزن الطلب وطرق الشحن المتاحة. وتُعرض تكاليف الشحن المستحقة عند إتمام الطلب، قبل تأكيد عملية الشراء والدفع.
يرجى العلم أن تكاليف الشحن لا تشمل الرسوم الجمركية أو ضرائب الاستيراد أو أي رسوم أخرى قد تفرضها الدولة المستقبلة. وفي حال وجود هذه الرسوم، يتحمل المستلم مسؤولية سدادها. وقد تتواصل معكم السلطات الجمركية أو شركة التوصيل لطلب دفع الرسوم أو تقديم مستندات إضافية.
قد يؤدي عدم سداد الرسوم المستحقة أو عدم تقديم المستندات المطلوبة إلى تأخير الشحنة أو إعادتها إلى المرسل.
تُرسل الطلبات إلى العنوان البريدي الذي يقدمه العميل عند إتمام عملية الشراء. وتعتمد المدة التقديرية للتوصيل على الوجهة وطريقة الشحن المختارة والإجراءات الجمركية. وتبقى مواعيد التسليم تقديرية وغير مضمونة.
يرجى التأكد من إدخال بيانات الشحن كاملةً وبشكل صحيح. لا تتحمل Moving Forward Books مسؤولية مشكلات التوصيل الناتجة عن معلومات غير صحيحة أو غير مكتملة يقدمها العميل.

سياسة الإرجاع واسترداد الأموال
نحرص على تقديم معلومات دقيقة قدر الإمكان عن كل منشور. قبل إتمام الطلب، يرجى قراءة الأوصاف بعناية، والتحقق من المواصفات، ومراجعة الصور المتاحة.
إذا رغبتم في إرجاع أحد المنتجات، يرجى التواصل معنا خلال 14 يومًا من تاريخ استلام الطلب عبر البريد الإلكتروني ، مع ذكر رقم الطلب وسبب الإرجاع. ويجب الحصول على موافقتنا قبل إرسال المنتجات المُراد إرجاعها.
ما لم يكن المنتج معيبًا أو تالفًا أو غير مطابق للطلب، أو تنص القوانين المعمول بها على خلاف ذلك، يتحمل العميل تكاليف شحن الإرجاع.
يجب إعادة المنشورات بحالتها الأصلية، دون استعمال أو تلف، مع الحفاظ على أي تغليف أصلي. ونحتفظ بحق فحص المنتجات المُعادة قبل الموافقة على استرداد المبلغ.
تتم معالجة المبالغ المستردة، بعد استلام المنتجات المُعادة وفحصها، باستخدام وسيلة الدفع الأصلية. وقد تختلف مدة معالجة الاسترداد بحسب مزود خدمة الدفع.
لا يحد أي بند في هذه السياسة من حقوق المستهلك الإلزامية التي تنطبق على عملية الشراء.
الطلبات التالفة أو المعيبة أو غير المطابقة
يرجى فحص الطلب فور استلامه. إذا وصل أحد المنشورات تالفًا أو معيبًا، أو استلمتم منتجًا مختلفًا عن المنتج الذي طلبتموه، يرجى التواصل معنا في أقرب وقت ممكن عبر البريد الإلكتروني
يرجى تضمين رقم الطلب ووصف المشكلة وإرفاق صور توضيحية عند الاقتضاء. سنراجع الحالة ونعمل معكم على إيجاد حل مناسب، قد يشمل استبدال المنتج أو استرداد المبلغ، وفقًا لتوفر المنتج والقوانين المعمول بها.

تقدم Moving Forward Books اختيارات منتقاة من منشورات دور النشر المستقلة والناشرين الأفراد. وقد يختلف توفر المنشورات بحسب المخزون والكميات المخصصة من الناشرين وترتيبات التوزيع.
نبذل جهودًا معقولة لعرض المنشورات بدقة من خلال الأوصاف والصور. ومع ذلك، قد تختلف الألوان الظاهرة بحسب الشاشة وإعدادات العرض المستخدمة.
تُعرض الأسعار بالعملة المحددة على الموقع، وقد تتغير دون إشعار مسبق. ويُعتمد السعر الظاهر عند إتمام الطلب، مع مراعاة تصحيح الأخطاء الواضحة في الأسعار والقوانين المعمول بها.

القسم الخامس — الطلبات والدفع
بتقديم الطلب، تؤكدون أن المعلومات التي أدخلتموها صحيحة وأن لديكم الصلاحية لاستخدام وسيلة الدفع المختارة.
تخضع الطلبات لتوفر المنشورات وإتمام الدفع بنجاح وإمكانية التوصيل إلى العنوان المحدد.
نحتفظ بحق رفض الطلبات أو إلغائها في حالات الاشتباه في الاحتيال أو تكرار المعاملات أو وجود أخطاء في المخزون أو لأسباب مشروعة أخرى. وإذا تم تحصيل المبلغ بالفعل عن طلب أُلغي، فسيُعاد المبلغ المعني عند الاقتضاء.
يرجى التأكد من صحة عنوان بريدكم الإلكتروني وبيانات الفوترة وعنوان الشحن، حتى نتمكن من معالجة الطلب والتواصل معكم عند الحاجة.
القسم السادس — الشحن والجمارك والتوصيل
تُعرض تكاليف الشحن وطرق التوصيل المتاحة والمدد التقديرية للتسليم عند إتمام الطلب، حيثما توفرت هذه المعلومات.
تظل مواعيد التسليم تقديرية، وقد تتأثر بالنقل الدولي والإجراءات الجمركية والخدمات البريدية المحلية أو بظروف خارجة عن سيطرتنا.
